Back Deck Hosts Special Summertime 'Cookouts'

S'mores are part of the "Summertime Cookout" special menu at Back Deck.

American griller Back Deck in Downtown Crossing figured we’ve had enough of the snow and cold (look out, forecast says we’re about to get more…). So it’s fashioned a feast - a “Summertime Cookout” with platters of grilled fare, buckets of beer and more, designed for groups of 10 or more (remember, it’s a cookout!). For example, settle in with a Burger & Dog Party, starting with hot wings, deviled eggs and bacon-wrapped jalapeƱo poppers; then you move onto a platter of beef, turkey and chickpea burgers and cheeseburgers, and Pearl hot dogs, sides of coleslaw and fries; for dessert, there’s mini s’mores with peanut butter and espresso marshmallows ($20 per person). The Back Deck features other menus - kabob mania ($30 per person) and a New England clam bake ($40 per person) - plus buckets of beer, such as Narragansett tall boys (five at $20 per bucket).
