Austin Weekly Planner: Drinky Time

Drink.Well's digs
This week it’s all about the drinks. But then again, in Austin, when is it about anything else?

Tuesday - Friday
North Loop bar Drink.Well turns one this week, and to celebrate, owners Michael and Jessica Sanders are launching a new drink and food menu and are having a customer appreciation week. The spring menu includes craft cocktails like Swizzle Me Timbers (Batavia Arrack, fresh pineapple, coffee liquor and mole bitters) and comfort food like Bourbon Beanie Weenies (navy beans in a bourbon glaze with Smokey Denmark hot links, served with house-made corn muffins).

Customer appreciation week means certain bottles of wine are 20 percent off, $1 off all house cocktails and draught beer, $2 off wine by the glass, $5 house spirits and 24 special birthday-cake house-made twinkies each day at only $1.

New tap room Craft Pride opens on Thursday on Rainey Street, next to Javelina. Think 54 taps and two cask engines all with Texas-made beers from 18 Texas breweries. Try a 16-ounce beer or a flight of five and hang out in the comfy interior or massive back patio.
