  1. I love Jaleo, so IMHO, the DC restaurants listed are probably on par. But it's extremely frustrating when an article that talks about the best Spanish restaurants in DC lists, as #1, a joint in Frederick, Maryland. Frederick is 50 miles outside of DC!

    Frederick's a great town. I am a fan of the town's downtown scene and am impressed by the ever increasing quality of restaurants there. But DUDE, Frederick's not even considered a SUBURB of DC!

    I'd love to see some articles that talk about DC Metro to be a bit more realistic about what the "metro area" consists of. DC proper, of course, the immediate suburbs in NOVA, and the nearby parts of PG and Montgomery Counties. But sorry, 50 miles outside of DC? That's like calling Ashburn, VA part of the DC metro area. The madness must stop somewhere!
