Weekend Food Planner: January 17-20

Eat to keep warm.

Thursday
Book now for Ravinder Bhogal's "Fork Me Spoon Me" Saturday supper clubs at 3 South Place in February. She uses pulse-quickening and romance-inducing ingredients including chilli, rose and champagne in her weekly changing menu. For bookings, e-mail 3SP@southplacehotel.com or call 020 3215 1270.

Friday
Giving "hot and sultry" a whole new meaning tonight is cookbook Fifty Shades of Chicken. A spoof of last year's best-selling novel Fifty Shades of Grey, this bizarre book replaces the novel's heroine with a big-breasted chicken and includes raunchy recipes for everything from jerk to roasted, baked to fried.

Saturday
Take your dog for tea at The Princess of Wales pub in Primrose Hill, where the Pedigree Tea (£38 for two people plus a dog) includes human-friendly sandwiches and scones plus dog treats for your four-legged friend, such as the 'dog-a-ccino' made with carob instead of chocolate. Booking is essential.

Sunday
Brighten up a dark Sunday afternoon at Asia de Cuba's new dim sum brunch. The new weekly event (noon-5 PM) includes live performances by a popular Cuban jazz trio and a DJ as well steaming plates of Chinese dumplings.
