Village Shutters: Bistro De La Gare, Principessa and Caliu Close Down

A few shutters to report from the West Village Area. First up, a tipster sends word that two Hudson Street venues have bit the dust. Bistro De La Gare, a small, rustic Mediterranean eatery, has closed up shop, as has tapas joint Caliu, a few blocks up the street. A bit further Downtown, recently opened Principessa (technically in SoHo, but only a stone's throw from the village) was also papered over on a recent walk by, and unanswered calls to the restaurant indicate that it too has closed.
