Photo of the Day: No More Henry's Tacos

We got the late-breaking news last week that after a long struggle with her landlord, Henry's Tacos owner Jannis Hood decided to officially call it quits after Saturday. We heard the lines were long, as they have been since word spread that the iconic Studio City stand was closing, but people were leaving happy with their crispy beef tacos topped with bright yellow cheese. Bittersweet. We hoped at least the sign would be saved, and by the looks of this photo posted by a friend on Sunday, it has. Another piece of Valley and LA culinary history, gone.

  1. Jannis Hood is not a business person but she is a nut and an attention whore. I hate evil landlords as much as the next guy but they get a pass on this one. She jerked around her landlord , the public, her employees and the eager buyers for the business as it was. Screwing everyone, including herself, in the process. She is a fool.
Too bad. This is a textbook example of why family owned businesses almost never get get past the third generation.
