Brrr. All day we've been listening to our East Coast and Midwest friends talk about how mild this 50-degree winter day is, while everyone we know here can't stop complaining about how cold our 50-degree winter day is. Personally, we don't mind when a chill hits LA; it just gives us more reason to drink
hot cocktails and
sit by a fireplace, maybe both together if we're lucky. Since today is
National Hot Toddy Day, here's another entry to sip tonight should you choose:
Freddy Smalls' Hot Freddy, a warm scented concoction of Amaro Nonino, wildflower honey, lemon, bitters and Earl Grey tea. Mmm...toasty.
