The Hudson has
their lodge,
Haven has a ski chalet, the
Hotel Americano has a chilly rooftop lounge and now the
Out NYC Hotel has launched Winter Wonderland, an arctic-themed retreat on the rooftop of the gay-friendly property in Hell's Kitchen. From 2 to 9 PM, a specialty fondue menu will be available with option like The Apres, a gooey pot of Vacherine cheese (the fondues are also available in the property's restaurant,
KTCHN).
Like at the other polar bars, hot drinks will be available. A Patron-spiked Mexican hot chocolate and mulled wine are available. The snowy retreat will be up and running through February. With all of the faux-winter lodges, you can enjoy all the perks of a ski lodge without actually having to freeze your butt off on the slopes (510 W. 42nd St.).
