OM in Cambridge Closes

After rumors came out last week that Harvard Square's OM had given up the ghost, today brings confirmation that the seven-year-old Southeast Asian restaurant has indeed closed. Eater spoke to owner Solmon Chowdhury, who claims that "the landlord signed an agreement with a third party to sell our restaurant without our consent" and in general made it difficult to conduct business due to alleged employee harassment and more. Chowdhury spent $800,000 in legal fees filing a lawsuit against the landlord and filed for bankruptcy protection to avoid this outcome, however in the end it didn't help. The restaurant is survived by Central Square's Moksa and Dorchester's Shanti.
