Chicago French Market, that serves everything from French macarons to raw sushi welcomes two new vendors this week.
Lillie’s Q will bring their popular Wicker Park BBQ joint wills serve portable versions of their saucy staples. Sandwiches include puled pork, pulled chicken or tri tip on a brioche bun and they also serve stews, salads and sides. Half pound or pound portions of smoked meats are also for sale in addition to their signature line of sauces and rubs.
A few booths away, the food truck Beaver’s Donuts + Coffee will establish a less mobile outpost. Soft opening on Thursday, their specialty is fresh mini-doughnuts customized with a choice of sauces and toppings. Stay simple with cinnamon sugar or chocolate powdered sugar, or go gourmet with toppings such as the “Rock Star” with strawberry sauce and strawberry Pop Rocks. They will be giving away free doughnuts at their grand opening next Wednesday.
