Primp your pooch and prime yourself for a sugar rush. The 12th annual
Sugar and Champagne Affair will take place on January 31 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Leashed pets and their two-legged handlers will cruise stations with edible art, gourmet desserts from more than 75 top-flight restaurants and bakeries, and free-flowing bubbly wines - plus doggy treats, of course. Specialty cakes will be sold at a live auction. All proceeds benefit the
