Grand Central Terminal is getting ready to turn 100 years old on February 1 (we sure hope we look that good at 100), and to celebrate a lot of the food vendors are rolling back prices to 1913 levels. What does that mean for you? How about a slice of cheesecake for $.13 at the
Oyster Bar? Yes, please. Other ridiculously cheap offerings include $.19 shrimp and $.13 mussels at
Pescatore and $.6 loaves of rye bread at
Zaro's bakery. Other terminal vendors will also be taking part, but do you really want to spend $2 for some silk scarves when you can get scoops of gelato or sorbet at Ciao Bella for only $.10? Didn't think so. Get more info about
the celebration here.
