Good news for Dot folks and
Ashmont Grill fans - Chris Douglass' popular American restaurant is now open for Friday lunch indefinitely. Douglass opened for Friday lunch during the holiday season, and the gig was so successful he’s decided to do it full time. The 10-item lunch menu ranging from $7-$15 has items such as salads, sandwiches, pastas and soups, and will be served until 5 PM. Desserts will include a chocolate crème fraîche cake with roasted pears and parfait of banana cream & butterscotch pudding with pecan crunch. Yum (Fridays, 11:30 AM-5 PM; 617-825-4300)!
