Ambar, a stylish modern Balkan, opened this week, bringing intriguing sharing plates and a colorful assortment of rasika and regional wines to Capitol Hill. The charming setting re-images an
ambar, a traditional farm building, with rough wood slats covering white-washed plaster walls and a second level bar/lounge. Offering something a little different in the way of food and drink, in a sophisticated setting, it should have no trouble finding its niche. Check out our early visit in the slide show.
National drink is called Rakija, not rasika as per photo 6....
ReplyDeleteVery proud of this restaurant and its concept, can't wait to visit..
