10 Greater Boston Italian Neighborhood Gems

Everyone knows the major players when it comes to Italian cuisine, but what about the quieter spots that appeal to the locals? Sometimes they're one and the same, and with so many great Italian restaurants it's hard to pick just 10, but to steer you in the right direction of where to go, we whittled down our choices to neighborhood gems that should definitely be on your must-try list.

    Gran Gusto, Pasta Beach, L'impasto.
    Those are true italian restaurants in (greater) Boston...

    1. I'd go with Gran Gusto and L'Impasto, unfortunately Im not personally familiar with Pasta Beach.. thanks for calling attention to these places.

  2. And where's Vinny's (Somerville) on the list? It's the best Sicilian restaurant in "greater Boston."

  4. You left out Spiga in Needham. It has, by far, better authentic Italian food than those on your list. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out.
