Weekend Food Planner: London December 13-16

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Eric Lanlard (AKA Cake Boy) is setting up a pop-up cake shop in GILT Cocktail Lounge at Jumeriah Carlton Tower Hotel this weekend (11 AM-4 PM). The baker himself will be selling treats including Christmas cupcakes and mince pies as well as copies of his latest books.

There's a new (hot) dog in town, and you'll find him parked outside the Portobello Star every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (11 AM-4:30 PM). Wild Dogs sources their 100% British free-range pork sausages from Gloucestershire and serves them sandwiched between artisan bread.

Life really is a cabaret at The Crazy Coqs. Find the recently opened cabaret and jazz bar in the same spectacular Art Deco building as Brasserie Zedel. For details of upcoming performances and to book go to brasseriezedel.com.

Wrap up warm and get into the festive spirit at Inn the Park's Christmas Market in St. James's Park (11:30 AM-3:30 PM). Stalls include Mrs Tee's Wild Mushroom, Greg the Pumpkin Man and Celtic Fish and Game as well as carollers and lots of hot chocolate.
