Pop-Up Watch: Liholiho Yacht Club This Weekend

Chef Ravi Kapur is inviting diners to “get jag” with him this weekend in the Mission where he will be hosting two all-new pop-up dinners at the underground supper club Naked Kitchen. Unlike his previous peripatetic Liholiho Yacht Club happenings, these upcoming five-course+ dinners will be feature Kapur’s signature genre-bending Californian-Hawaiian classics - sticky rice in lotus leaf, five-spice pork belly and octopus and bacon apple malasadas, but with a more wintery twist, such as shaved Brussels sprouts with shaved pig head (see complete menu here).


The format of the dinner will also be different, with individually coursed dishes and more communal seating. In addition to seating in the main dining room, six lucky diners will be able to reserve tickets to dine at the chef’s table where they can watch all the action in the kitchen first-hand. Note: It’s BYOB.

December 21 and 22, seatings beginning at 7 PM, $75 per person excluding gratuity, $100 for the chef’s table, BYOB, for reservations and more details, check out the event website.
