For this week's NY Times review, restaurant critic Pete Wells visited UES Indian restaurant Moti Mahal Delux and came away muy impressed. The eatery is part of an international chain, with over 100 locations in India, Nepal and England. The first NYC outpost garnered a two-star review, with Wells raving about the indulgent, Northern Indian fare, giving a special shout out to the vegetarian dishes on the menu. He points out that the place is a value (and doesn't have a liquor license yet - sigh), but says that some dishes, specifically the lentils, made him go "wobbly with happiness."
