Monday, December 3

At lunch today, Aquavit will introduce their Christmas Plate, which features items like ham, herring and salmon. The dish is available or $35 per person and includes a cup of glögg, a tasty concoction of mulled wine (212-307-7311).

Tuesday, December 4

Splurge on a wine dinner tonight at Tocqueville, which will serve a special four-course spread with vino from Soliste Cellars. Dish options include scallops with foie gras and the all-inclusive menu costs $225 per person (212-647-1515).

Wednesday, December 5

During prohibition, if you broke the law and hit the booze you were labeled a scofflaw. Today, to celebrate the repeal of Prohibition, The Vault at Pfaff's will serve $8 Scofflaw cocktails. The mix of rye, vermouth, citrus and bitters debuted at Harry’s Bar in Paris in 1924 (212-253-5421).

Thursday, December 6

The lobby of Le Parker Meridien Hotel is currently hosting the property's annual display of gingerbread houses. You can drop by to check them out and vote for your favorite with a $1 bill - the proceeds will be donated to City Harvest in support of their efforts to feed New Yorkers this holiday season. The display will be up through January 3.

Friday, December 7

Take a culinary tour of Italy's Lombardia region at Casa Nonna, which just launched a new regional dinner menu with dishes like pork belly and grilled polenta and Osso Bucco alla Milanese. A four-course holiday feast is available for $44 per person, which should leave you plenty of dough left over for holiday shopping.

Saturday, December 8

Check out the new brunch offerings at Angolo SoHo, where chef Michael Beradino is putting out options like pancakes stuffed with ricotta and a grilled cheese parmigiano with speck, toma and besciamellia. If you want something heartier, there is also a great selection of house made pasta (212-203-1722).

Sunday, December 9

And wine your week down by stuffing your face with some ice cream at the new Big Gay Shop in the West Village. It was a long week of going out. You deserve it.
