Junk Food Warning: Move Away From the Burger

Thought eating junk food was bad for you? It turns out quitting junk food may actually be worse for your health.

Researchers at the University of Montreal have discovered that the feelings you have when you stop eating junk food are similar to those experienced during withdrawal from drugs. According to the Huffington Post, a six-week study performed on mice left the ones raised on a high fat diet and then switched to a healthier one with chemical activity in their brain that is linked to anxiety and symptoms of depression.

It's a shame we didn't know that before we spent the year gorging on gourmet junk food!
