Freeze Out the Cold With Sampan Graffiti Bar Specials

Despite above-average temperatures throughout the year, looks like the mercury will dip below freezing after all this winter. That’s good news for fans of food and drink specials, however, because Michael Schulson is running a chillingly good cold weather deal at Sampan in Midtown Village. The outdoor Graffiti Bar behind the restaurant is open all year long - thanks to heaters and all-weather clear roofing - and when the thermometer reads below 32°F, special pricing kicks in.

Get up close and personal with the falling snow while enjoying $2-$4 plates like Korean BBQ beef satay, duck egg rolls, shrimp and lobster dumplings, kobe hot dog buns, pork banh mi and other bar bites. (Check the photo above, these are no wimpy dishes.) Daily changing drink deals will be available as well.

Prices are similar to what you usually find at 4-7 PM happy hour, but when it’s below freezing, they’re offered any time of day. So bring on the cold - the colorful Graffiti bar is ready to warm you up from the inside out (215-732-3501).
