Heading to the Santa Monica farmers market today or shopping along the Promenade? When you bump into chef Joe Miller (Joe's), and you will, wish him a happy birthday to
Bar Pintxo, his five year tapas spot just around the corner. And then get over there for a glass of anniversary sangria, which they're handing out all day today (one glass per customer). There's also lobster paella, porchetta, special Christmass turrón and polvoron, and cava cocktails. To sweeten the celebratory pot, each check will get a raffle ticket to win a tasting menu for two - the drawing happens on December 22, just in time for the holiday (109 Santa Monica Blvd.; 310-458-2012).
