There are gingerbread houses and then there are gingerbread houses. This model of the sprawling English mansion made famous by the popular TV series was created by US-based cookie artist Curtis Jensen as part of his annual gingerbread project. (In previous years he has recreated a French chateau and a palace in Venice.)
This year's house rises from just gingerbread dough, icing and crushed butterscotch sweets for the window dressing. Let's hope he has lots of friends coming over for Christmas lunch to help him eat it.
