This has been a banner year for chefs opening their own restaurants. From
Radius alum Chad Burns and wife Sharon Burns launching
Farmstead Table over the summer, to David Punch (Ten Tables) debuting
Sycamore around the block, Boston has a lot to buzz about. Newton Centre saw a lot of action, as did Cambridge (
Puritan & Company, anyone?). As an editor’s note, we’d include
The Sinclair music hall and dining venue in Cambridge with Michael Schlow consulting, but the restaurant is not fully functioning yet, so we’re saving that for the new year - unless something buzzier comes along. If there’s a hot spot we missed, do tell. We’re not perfect, but we’re always hungry.
