Where to Watch the US Election Results 2012 in London

If you're staying up all night to find out who will be the next U.S. president, do it with fellow Americans (or Londoners interested in American politics) fuelled by Stateside snacks and plenty of champagne and coffee. Here are three places open all night on November 6.

The Clerkenwell restaurant is holding a party - The Redhook Red Eye - from 8 PM till dawn in honour of the elections. Tickets (£65) includes as much food (shrimp, ribs, hot dogs, pie) and drinks (beer, American whiskey, cocktails, coffee) as you want. Breakfast will also be served if the night goes that long as well as champagne for the winners and tea and sympathy for the losers (89 Turnmill St., EC1M 5QU‎; 020 7065 6800).

The American Bar at the Stafford Hotel 
The election night veteran bar team will steady your nerves with a neat drinks and potent cocktails while you watch the results coverage on big screens. The evening starts at 9 PM with American food (don't miss the killer burger) prepared by chef Brendan Fyldes (16-18 St. James's Pl., SW1A 1NJ 0207 493 0111).

The Lexington Pub 
The U.S. Presidential Election Party at this north London pub starts at 11.30 PM and ends when it is all done (around 4 AM). It's free to enter and there will be lots of American candy (Twinkies, Reese's Pieces), snacks (hot dogs, burgers) and a large selection of American Whisky to keep you calm (96-98 Pentonville Road, N1 9JB).
