Where to Eat Near the Magnificent Mile

  1. I'm sorry, but the Sig room has nothing on Cite. As a Caucasian that has been to the Sig room and witnessed very disrespectful and racist behaviors, I ask everyone I know to stay away. When "white" people can sit where they want and African Americans are brought to darker corners of the restaurant on more than three visits in a row, I draw a line.

    1. Their discrimination doesn't stop there. I, a female, took my female staffmember out to Sig for a recognition dinner. It was a Friday night. I made my reservation weeks in advance. Being just 2 women, they sat us at the worst table possible with only a view of the lake (which at night, is no treat.) But, men with dates, even with no reservation,got premium seats. I have never been back since.
