UCLA vs. USC = Gus's Barbecue Tailgate Party

Now that the election season debates are (thankfully) behind us, here's another heated topic to discuss: Who throws a better tailgate party, Bruins or Trojans? The big cross-city rivalry game takes place this Saturday at the Rose Bowl, and Gus's Barbecue wants football fans on both sides eat well before and/or during the game. You can always find tailgate and party packs at the South Pasadena restaurant, but this weekend there's the special Pac 12, a barbecue feast fit for a truly hungry ballin' crew.

You'll get three pounds of Memphis-style babyback ribs or St. Louis-style spare ribs, three whole bbq chickens, Carolina-style pulled pork or beer-braised brisket, smoked sausage, corn bread, and four quarts of side dishes (your choice of bbq baked beans, cole slaw, red skin potato salad, garlic mashed potatoes, sugar snap peas and carrots, braised greens, dirty rice, cream corn and mac and cheese). Get it "USC-Style" and receive complimentary 12 pack of PBR; UCLA gets Coors Light. The whole shebang costs $199.95 and feeds 12. Orders can be placed through Friday for Saturday game-day pickup (808 Fair Oaks Ave.; 626-799-3251).

  1. why on earth would you serve the UCLA meal with Coors Light? The beer brand that has been plastering Los Angeles with billboards heralding the USC football team? Are you on crack? Fail.

  2. Your blogs are easily accessible and quite enlightening so keep doing the amazing work guys.bubblegum casting reviews
