Similar to the truck, the chef-driven specialties include things like blue crab, scallop and shrimp ceviche, pork belly nachos, wild rice salad with chipotle vinaigrette, achiote potato tacos, and the "world famous" carnitas fries. Founder Daniel Shemtob and crew have created over 500 dishes in the two years they've been running the truck, so expect the menu to change and expand over time. There's also beer and wine, and of course limeade. Think of it as easy food-truck food for the UCLA crowd, just in one place so they know where to go in between classes.
There was a promise to give out free tacos today had the Facebook page received 1000 likes before it opened, but since that didn't happen, any Facebook fan with the password will get a free limeade all day today. [via Grub Street]
