Tonight, It's All About the Sake At Two Special Dinners

We’ve done the wine dinners, guzzled brew at some beer dinners and even had the honor of an evening filled with cocktail pairings. Now, it is sake’s time to shine.

Union Sushi + Barbeque Bar will kick off their sake tasting and food paining experience tonight. Hosted by “sake ninja,” Eric Swanson of Tenzing, guests have two options for their sake experience. The first is the classic sake tasting is priced at $40 per person, and the second is the adventurous sake tasting at $60 per person. At an Asian restaurant on the other side of the highway, chef Bill Kim welcomes guest at 6:30 PM to Belly Q for a five-course sake-pared dinner. Course such as slow roasted Wagyu tri-tip are paired with Kenbishi aged sake, and pork tenderloin with mushroom dumpling are paired with the fragrant Hakugyokko sake.
