Stix Brings Greek Yogurt Bar and Skewered Meats to Gramercy

Why have regular meat when you can have meat on a stick? Mediterranean grill Stix thinks the answer is a no brainer: many of their locally sourced meats are served on a skewer. Also dubbed "stix," these namesake dishes are spruced up takes on classic kebabs - there's one with ground lamb and homemade tomato sauce and another with chicken thighs, honey mustard, pepper and lemon. In addition to these bites, the restaurant operates as a coffee shop during the day and features a unique Greek yogurt bar, which serves yougurt by the scoop and lets you choose between healthy toppings. The cafe is from Stathis Antonakopolous, who cut his chops at the Kellari Hospitality Group - it's currently in soft-open mode at 112 East 23rd St., and you can see the full menu below the jump (212-673-6666).
