South End Welcomes New Creative American: Boma

Boma is now open in the South End.
Boma Restaurant + Bar, a creative New American, has opened in the South End at 1415 Washington Street, the brief former home to Bombay.

Boma places an emphasis on simply prepared creative American cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible (a familiar mantra by today’s chefs), with a particular focus on New England seafood. The menu runs from small plates (duck-fat French fries, tacos, with prices between $7-$12) to light fare (fish 'n’ chips, $14-$16) and large plates (grilled swordfish, filet of sole with crabmeat; prices $22-$30). The decor is simple and inviting think exposed brick, wood tables, pendant lighting and sparse decor. Creative cocktails, beer and wine are part of the mix.

Boma serves dinner seven days.

  1. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is great blog.
An excellent read. I’ll certainly be back.
