Both the sandwich and the meat certainly look good enough to eat but they probably wouldn't taste very good considering they are in fact very life-like oil painting by Dutch artist Tjalf Sparnaay. 


The 58-year-old artist whose work sells for roughly £36,000 told the Daily Mail: 'I take the subjects of my oils from everyday reality, utilising trivial or mundane items, my intention is to give these objects a soul, a presence.' He had us fooled!
