While waiting out some technical difficulties for a film showing at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood over the weekend, a drink was in order. But between the tourists, street urchins, hoochie mamas and everyone else walking and driving the strip, Hollywood Boulevard on a Saturday night can be a frightening, frightening thing. Which is why Musso & Frank's is a saving grace - perfectly crafted martinis and Manhattans from men in bright red jackets never get old. It's somehow civilized amongst the chaos; or maybe that's the extra drink they put on reserve talking. Next time we'll stay for a steak.
