We’ve said it before: Philadelphia is a sandwich town. While out-of-staters know our city for its cheesesteaks (and there’s no doubt great options abound), many locals point to the hoagie as Philly’s real signature bread-and-meat combo. In the spirit of upcoming Election Day,
Visit Philly has asked citizens to take sides, and choose a favorite between the two.
So, we’re asking for your opinion: which do you love the best? And where is the premium version of it found - does
Jim’s cheesesteak beat
Chickie’s Italian hoagie? Does
Shank’s chicken Parm put
Cosmi’s wiz wit to shame? Would you skip
Tony Luke’s in favor of
Sarcone’s? Let us know in the comments, and may the best sandwich win.
