Newton Centre is already a charming place to shop, with all its artisan stores, boutiques, salons - and now a row of new restaurants (
Farmstead Table,
B Street,
Terry O’Reilly’s) along with some old timers (
Café Sol Azteca,
Jumbo Seafood). Adding to the charm is its annual
Holiday Stroll this weekend, Sunday, December 2 (noon-6 PM), providing an excellent opportunity to get your holiday shopping started (or done) and a nice meal under your belt. The day includes holiday specials, demo classes, pop-up performances, family fun and more.
Many restaurants are participating, and
Farmstead Table is doing a special brunch for the day from 10 AM-3 PM, followed by small plates at the bar before dinner service.
At 4 PM, there will be a free community concert at the First Baptist Church in Newton Centre, hosted by the Newton Cultural Alliance, with a “Stroll & Sing” around Newton Centre afterward.
