The little Echo Park beer store that could is now open seven days a week. You can now sit and sip any number of craft brews at Sunset Beer Company on Monday nights (4-11 PM), whether it's something seasonal and local from the tap or bottled from the retail side. There's also a few more seats around the lounge area. We can't think of a better way to kick off the week (1498 W. Sunset Blvd.; 213-481-2337).
While a lot of focus is on the Stanley Kubrick exhibit at LCAMA right now, there's also the Caravaggio exhibit that just opened this past weekend. To celebrate the 17th century Italian artist, whose work is known for a dramatic use of shadows and light, the November Cur-ATE series features a specially themed three-course menu at Ray's & Stark Bar with a tour of the exhibition tonight. Tours are at 6:30 and 7:15 PM, dinner to follow. $90 for LACMA members; $100 for non-members. Make reservations through the LACMA box office (323-857-6010).
