Le Suquet in South Kensington Closes

After nearly 4 decades Le Suquet - one of London's best fish restaurants - has closed. The French seaside-inspired spot which opened in 1975 took pride in serving the freshest seafood from oysters to lobsters and catch of the day from a quiet corner on Draycott Avenue. But it seems not everyone has an appreciation for good food as the landlord has repossessed the site presumably to build yet another million dollar home.

Let's hope Le Suquet finds another corner where they can reopen and continue to recreate the Cote D'Azur in London for another 40 years.
