Indochine and Acme Raise Money for Sandy; C-Cap Benefit at Ginny's

Monday is a busy day for folks who feel inspired to be charitable. Indochine and Acme have put together a fundraiser for Sandy victims that deviates from the standard model. Instead of donating a portion of the profits from the evening, these two restaurants have vowed to donate half of your check. Sounds like a great reason to order more than you normally would. You can get a Monday night reservation at Acme by calling 212-203-2121 and Indochine by calling 212-505-5111.

Uptown, Ginny's Supper Club underneath Marcus Samuelsson's Red Rooster is also raising money for a good cause. The fourth-annual C-CAP junior benefit will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 PM, it's a walk around tasting where guests (ages 21-45) aw will be able to enjoy bites, beer and cocktails to support the organization, which works with schools around the country to prepare students for careers in the hospitality industry. Tickets for that benefit are $150 and you can purchase them here.
