It’s burger week, y’all, and there is no time for funny business. Before we serve up the juiciest burger posts, we want to prove just how serious we are with a $100 burger. It’s a new addition to the menu at Hoyt’s. While it does not rival New Yorks City’s most expensive patty ($295 at Serendipity 3) smothered in white truffle butter and topped in 18-year aged cheddar. It’s comforting to know that even when Chicago does excessive - Australian black truffles infused Wagyu beef on a pain de mie bun with Camembert cheese - it’s still reasonable…sorta.
