Get Holiday Party Advice From Boston Experts

Myers + Chang will host Tuesday night party-prep sessions.
Nervous about throwing your holiday party? Get in the groove with some party tips from the folks who know how to do it well. Chef Karen Akunowicz and cocktailier/manager Heather Thompson of Myers + Chang are holding court Tuesday evening, November 27, December 4 and December 18, to offer tips, techniques and recipes (and a dose of confidence) to help get your party into tip-top shape. The evening includes drinks, snacks, a special gift and a sure bet you’ll have a good time in the process (5:30 PM-7 PM; $40 per person 617-542-5200).

On Monday, December 10, learn how to make some pretty awesome edible gifts from pastry sous chef Shira Melen of Sofra in Cambridge.
