Gail's Artisan Bakery Grows Up With New Restaurant in Bloomsbury

Gail's - the artisan bakery with branches around London - is launching its first proper restaurant in Bloomsbury this Wednesday. Sticking to what they do best, many of the dishes and sharing plates are inspired by the baker and his oven, but the menu will also feature some more grown up, carb-free options.

The new space, Gail's Kitchen, will open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Expect dishes like French toast with caramelized apples and maple butter; Pizza bianca with burrata and chargrilled violet artichoke with Parma ham, as well as sharing plates of sea trout baked in salt and slow roast pork loin. The restaurant - with rotating art exhibitions by the nearby Rebecca Hossack gallery - will have an open plan kitchen where diners can also see the chef at work and check out the fresh produce in the kitchen.
