First Look: Hardings, Bringing "Classic America" to Former Gravy Space Tonight

Tonight's opening in the Flatiron District celebrates the good ol' U.S. of A. Harding's, opening tonight on 21st Street in the Flatiron District, promises a menu of classic American fare, ranging from pumpkin pie soup to Rockefeller Oysters to steak and potatoes, all prepared by chef Ariel Fox, who was previously the Chef de Cuisine at Acme. The spacious room runs with the theme - witness the flag from the late 1800's that's artfully draped in the dining room and the newspapers displayed in the space (they're from notable days in US history).

The spirits behind the large bar, which are all American brands (and the bar itself is made from local wood, courtesy of Bucks County, PA). The restaurant opens tonight for diner and drinks at 32 East 21st Street, in the space that housed Southern eatery Gravy (212-600-2105).
