First Look: Aamanns-Copenhagen, Opening Tomorrow in Tribeca

Downtown continues to bounceback after Sandy swept in last week. Danish eatery Aamanns-Copenhagen was on track to open pre-storm, but the venue was delayed due to the power outages and weather. Well, we just got word that the sleek venue is back on its feet and scheduled to open to the public tomorrow.

You may remember that the restaurant specializes in open-faced Danish sandwiches, or smørrebrød, which place ingredients on top of a slice of fresh rye bread. there will also be cultural events at the space, which hopes to become a hub for the expat community in NYC. The 50-seat space is located at 13 Laight Street.
