Electric Brasserie to Reopen as a Diner & Donut Shop

There has been a huge Electric Brasserie-shaped hole in our lives since it burnt down back in June. Today we are one step closer to filling it as a reopening date has been announced - and on December 3 the new Electric Diner and Electric Donuts in Notting Hill will be unveiled.

What we know so far is that the Soho House group have collaborated with Chicago-based chef Brendan Sodikoff whose restaurant Au Cheval is an all-day French/American diner. The menu will include a dedicated egg section (hello brunch) as well as signature dishes from the Chicago restaurant such as honey-fried chicken with chilli and sesame, roasted bone marrow and their award-winning cheeseburger.

Electric Donut in the entrance foyer is inspired by the popular Doughnut Vault in Chicago and will serve hot donuts and coffee all day. As well as traditional flavours you can also try a Berry Trifle or Maple Bourbon donut.

Worth the wait? We'll let you know...
