Sometimes the best desserts come in liquid form. New on
Barclay Prime’s fall cocktail list is Christina’s Spiced Hot Chocolate, which combines two of the best things in life - good chocolate and good liquor. Pastry chef Christina Diekewicz blends her own hot chocolate mix, enlivened with a touch of chili. Made to order into a piping hot drink, the chocolate is spiked with Fernet Branca and Hennessy VS and topped off with a housemade marshmallow. Stop in after work or a day of shopping to relax in the luxe leather Rittenhouse lounge and warm your soul with a spicy-sweet glass ($12, or $6 for a nonalcoholic version; 215-732-7560).
