Chabrot to Open Second Location in East London

Chabrot, the authentic and intimate French bistro tucked away in a quiet corner of Knightsbridge, has attracted a loyal local following since opening in 2011. But plans to open a second restaurant in Smithfield next year means they will need to attract a new set of locals to frequent the east end outpost.

Started by a group of friends including chef Thierry Laborde, the original 65-cover restaurant serves traditional dishes like whole leg of milk fed lamb, grilled spicy black pudding with cooked apple and pot roast chicken with foie gras. A similar menu and cosy bistro style is expected in Smithfield although possibly with a bit more edge to suit the locals. More details to follow.
