You know how we know it's fall around Los Angeles? When we have to open the door and windows to warm up the apartment. Beautiful sunny days and cool nights have us craving soup, and since we discovered Vien Cafe this past weekend, we headed back for a bowl of pho to warm our bellies. The super charming cafe opened earlier this year, bringing much needed banh xeo and banh mi to the Kosher Corridor. One of the servers told us it's owned by the same people as Atwater Village's Indochine, with the same menu, so either is a good spot to hit for a quick bite. The pho might not be as good as some found in the SGV or in Westminster, is extremely flavorful and fragrant. It completely sates the craving. For the second time we forgot to order the brown rice noodles, a specialty of the house. Next time.
