The San Francisco leg of the globetrotting
Omnivore World Tour, which celebrates Europe’s young new generation of chefs, will hit our shores the weekend of November 9-10 at the Observation Post at the Presidio. (Is it just us or is the Presidio finally having long-awaited foodie close-up moment? First Picnic at the Presidio, now this?) Back to the international food festival: it will feature special collaborative dinners presided over by visiting rising star European chefs and our own talented youngins including
Dominique Crenn (
Atelier Crenn),
James Syhabout (
Commis) and
Jason Fox (
Commonwealth) as well as master cooking classes from
Danny Bowien (Mission Chinese Food), Joshua Skenes (Saison) and
Corey Lee (Benu) and wine seminar by local somms such as
Mark Bright (
Saison).
Reservations for the dinners can be made directly at the respective restaurants.
