Neighborhood cafe House of Small Wonder shuttered in its original location on Skillman Avenue a few months ago, and the joint has reopened in a space adjacent to Zenkichi. The greenhouse-like room is climate controlled for the winter months, so there's more than the coffees and fresh-baked croissants to warm you up. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch - there full mid-day menu is full being developed but right now there's a small selection of sandwiches that includes brie, apple and fig on a baguette and avocado, chive and goat cheese on wheat bread. On Friday and Saturday nights, the area turns into Akariba, Zenkichi's oyster and sake bar. Right now it's open from Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM (77 North Sixth St.).
