Weekend Planner: October 26-28

Check out Rustic Kitchen's cooking demo this Friday
Don't have plans set this week? Don't fret, we have you covered.

On Friday night, learn how to make cider-brined double-cut pork chops with warm apple ginger chutney during Rustic Kitchen’s cooking show. You'll witness the cooking demo and enjoy a meal (which also includes sweet potato gnocchi) with wine pairings. RSVP in advance (7 PM; $75 per person; call for tickets 617-423-5700; click here for more info).

For those of you who live near or in Roslindale, head to Cafe Rialto to bid goodbye to this Italian restaurant. Drink specials will be available until Friday, and Saturday a big bash will be thrown. Stay tuned to its Facebook page for more information.

For more Halloween fun, Ducali Pizzeria & Bar in the North End is putting on its annual costume party. Dress the part to win a $50 gift certificate to the pizzeria, awarded to one guy and one girl, and hobnob with other ghoulish guests. Because there's no cover charge, it's an off-the-menu bites and cash bar evening, so bring your moola (9 PM-1 AM; 617-742-4144).

On Sunday, relax with a Spook-tacular Tea at Upstairs on the Square in Harvard Square. Marshmallow ghosts, black cat cookies and more are part of the scary yet sweet delectables. Costumes encouraged (1-3:30 PM; $30 per adult; $16 per child 12 and under; 617-864-1933).
